In 2026, the goal of Re-enchantment is either recklessly naive or the only way we’ll make it through.
Friends, these are heart-wrenching, spirit-pummeling days. We cannot ignore the horrors of the current reality, but our souls can’t sustain constant outrage. And for many of us, the faith community that taught us to follow Christ has betrayed the beatitude-soaked way of Jesus over and over.
In the midst of a crushingly disillusioning season on this dangerously disillusioned planet, we invite you to walk with us. To dream with us.
Not to go back to what was…that world has ended. We can’t return to a pre-cynical naiveté, as beautiful as that season was. But we can be born again, again. We can allow the darkness of loss to become the darkness of a womb that carries and delivers us into a new kind of Life.
The world is Enchanted. It has always been. The Spirit of New Life fills every molecule from the farthest solar system to the inside of our lungs…for it is IN GOD we live, move, and have our being. Will we cultivate eyes to see again? Will we let go of the structures and patterns that keep us captive to blindness? Without denying the heartbreaking brokenness all around and inside us, will we learn to find (and join) God’s fingerprints everywhere?
This year, together, we are unapologetically pursuing Re-Enchantment.
